Taking a minute away from my self-induced stress race versus the clock. Tomorrow is the big day, the event we’ve been waiting for and working towards around the clock these last few weeks. The culmination of our Marketing & Promotion Module. Our class site, with a huge release party to go along with it.
Tomorrow evening, we’ve invited a selected few (well, not so few) within the business to join us at Astoria to celebrate the release of our class site. And it will definately be off the hook! Can’t hardly wait!
On the downside, my time optimism has once again bit me in the ass and left me with a portfolio that still isn’t quite done for the release of the site. I, along with a few other braves, have run a few all-nighters these last few days, working like our lives depended on it. Design, align, code, get bored with the looks of it all, start to hate the looks, throw it away… Start over again, and repeat. It’s all pretty much a haze of too much coffee, floorslide competitions, strip ping pong and other various late night mischief… but it’s been awesome.
Anyways. Now to put those final touches on the portfolio. I’ll probably revise it pretty soon, but first, I’ll just ride the feeling of knowing I met the deadline for a while. May 1st reboot next?
