Last week I went north to my hometown Luleå, which I hadn’t visited for over a year. I stayed at my mom’s place, enjoyed her cooking and played with our dog for 4 days. It was nice to go home for a short while, to see that most things are the same as I left them, with a few minor additions and deductions to the cityscape. I also went to the neighbouring town Piteå, to visit my grandparents. Going there on a perfect autumn day, with the leaves barely hanging on to the branches, it was a lovely drive. I took some pictures from the car while driving, to my mothers great displeasure. “Keep your eyes on the road!” she kept yelling, scaring me almost enough to actually drive off the road. It’s good to know some things never change.
